Borneo Divers Mabul Resort

A beach resort on Mabul Island, a short boat ride from Sipadan and Kapalai.

Welcome to Borneo Divers Mabul Resort

Borneo Divers began diving Sipadan in 1983 and was one of its pioneers. The resort has a 150-metre jetty to the house reef, a camera room for underwater photographers and a turtle hatchery.

The resort sits on a white sand beach on Mabul Island. Divers and non-divers stay in beach chalets or villa rooms.

Every room has air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, an en suite bathroom with hot and cold shower and a private veranda.

Diving from the resort

The resort has a full-service dive centre with dive courses. Boat dives go to the reefs around Mabul and Kapalai.

Sipadan diving needs at least an Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. Sipadan permits must be requested well in advance and depend on permit availability.
